I Can't Add Things Into My Basket
Sometimes this is due to your internet browser security settings.
Several people use the website all at the same time. To distinguish between vistors and make sure we only show you your own basket and your own details, the website gives each visitor a long, coded 32 digit number. This number is known only to your computer and to the website while you are visiting. The number stays the same for the whole of your visit to the website.

Some customers have their browser security set to 'High' - this often makes your computer deliberately change the 32 digit number by itself so your computer cannot be identified by websites you visit. This is a problem to shop websites for example, because if your computer changes this number, the shop website can no longer recognise you. Many shop websites use this same system for identifying your computer.

If you want to you can normally change your browser settings quite safely using the instructions below. If you don't wish to do this you won't be able to use the on-line shopping basket, but you are welcome to place an order by phone.

Checking your Internet Explorer 6 Browser Settings
In Internet Explorer 6, from the 'Tools' menu item, choose 'Internet Options...', and click on the 'Security' tab. You should get a window that looks like this. The Stitchaholics website works with a setting of 'Medium' and less.
